Screaming Mimi's is just me....Michele deCesare. Some of you may remember me from my original endeavor, Bessie & Me Designs, the part-time business I started in 2005, and took full-time in early 2007 when I lost my job in the food & beverage industry. After many years in both service, and management roles in bars, nightclubs, and restaurants, (and also in administrative support roles), I'd had enough. It was time to merge my business experience with my creative skills.

 

About 18 months in, I had to close the shop when the economy crashed (and landed on me), so moved what was left of my operation to my home. Unable to find even a part-time job, I reorganized -- adding some services (sewing, and lessons), and reducing others. I'm still offering custom tees, custom embroidery, and the note cards with the vintage photos that started it all. I also offer sewing, and machine embroidery lessons for beginner, and intermmediate students.
